Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Nils Christopher Garny (“we”, “us”), who runs Bindung. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Who can use Bindung

You must be at least 16 years old. You must give your real date of birth, keep your login details to yourself, and are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content

There is no tolerance on Bindung for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not publish or link to anything, and must not behave in any way, that is:

• harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation or stalking;
• hateful or discriminatory towards anyone because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic;
• sexual, pornographic or sexually suggestive, or anything that sexualises minors;
• violent, gory, or promoting self-harm, suicide, terrorism or violent extremism;
• promoting illegal activity, drugs or weapons;
• spam, scams, advertising or misleading links;
• impersonating someone else, or sharing another person's private information without their permission;
• infringing someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• otherwise illegal, or objectionable in a way that makes Bindung unsafe for others.

You also must not try to get around blocks, the age check or our security, access data you aren't meant to see, or use automated means to collect data from Bindung.

How we enforce this

• Every page has a Report content button, and you can block anyone. A blocked person can't send you requests.
• We review reports within 24 hours. If content breaks these rules, we remove it, and we suspend or permanently remove the account that posted it — without prior notice.
• Where the law requires it, or where someone is in danger, we may pass information to the authorities.

4. Your content

What you put on your page stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide permission to store it, copy it and show it to other Bindung users, only as far as needed to run the app. The permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in reports as described in the Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

5. The service

Bindung is free. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or end features, or the app, at any time.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time (Your page → Edit → Delete account). We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms, or if we have to by law.

7. Liability

We're fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law says so. Otherwise, as Bindung is a free service provided by an individual, we're not liable for slight negligence, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

8. Apple

If you downloaded Bindung from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Changes and law

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Bindung after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
